The Wayside Art Group has been running for over ten years.

Occasionally, the Group has moved to other premises, for example to the Ark Café at Strathclyde University Chaplaincy in 1998 when the Wayside Centre was undergoing re-furbishment,  and also to the Maclennan Galleries during 1999, where the Group exhibited paintings and small sculptures after a six month residency in conjunction with the Centre for Contemporary Arts.
